On May 17, three current Ed.D. Secondary Education (English) students--Kim Foster, Kyle Jones, and Nick Thompson--delivered "From the Water Cooler to the Firehouse: Teaching Our Way through an English Ed Doctorate" as part of the Global Conversations in Doctoral Preparation seminar series at Georgia State University.
The series, now in its fourth year, has featured a number of high-profile scholars, speakers, and guests. Having our students involved as presenters is quite impressive and speaks to the quality of their work and the Ed.D. program. Dr. Ryan Rish was a key mentoring influence, helping these students propose and prepare for this session.
