New Student Orientations

All first-time, full-time students are required to attend a new student orientation session. It is strongly recommended that part-time first-year students and transfer students attend a new student orientation. Students sign up for the orientation through their Owl Express. Students who attend new student orientation may be able to register for classes at orientation.

First-year Student Orientation

Representatives from the Teacher Education Advisement Center will be available at orientation to advise first-year students regarding course selection and scheduling for the first semester. For general information prior to the orientation, please see "Frequently Asked Questions for First-Year Students."

Information regarding the First-Year seminar requirement and Learning Communities can be accessed at the Department of First-Year Programs.

Transfer Student Orientation

Representatives from the Teacher Education Advisement Center will be available at orientation to assist transfer students regarding course selection and scheduling for the first semester. Transfer students are strongly encouraged to meet with an advisor prior to orientation. Schedule an appointment.
