The Office of Collaborative Graduate Programs serves as a source of information and support for students and faculty in all Ed.S. and Ed.D. programs (including the M.Ed. in Teacher Leadership). While programs across the BCOE are supported through collaboration with this office and their home departments, Curriculum and Instruction (C&I) and Teacher Leadership (TL) are housed solely in this office. Many of the forms needed for matriculation and graduation are processed here as well and can be found on our home page.
Our advanced graduate programs are designed for experienced educators and school leaders. Our students are typically full-time professional educators who interact with each other to address real-world problems in P-12 schools. Courses are collaboratively developed and delivered with students working jointly across program lines. Within core courses where candidates study across concentrations, they contribute to each other’s learning using real-life problems from their own contexts. A combination of on-campus, on-site, and online learning experiences are offered to maximize collaboration with professional colleagues and peers.
While we support the programs across the BCOE, we encourage you to visit the individual departments to learn more about their specific requirements, courses, faculty, and resources.
