Yes. Candidates are encouraged to apply for the Clenadine Scholars Program (more information can be found at: https://web.kennesaw.edu/clendenin/). They are also encouraged to apply for research and teaching assistantships through the graduate college (more information can be found at: http://www.kennesaw.edu/graduate/GRA.html).
The program is on campus with a variety of classes in the program of study offered online or hybrid format.
No. Candidates may have the equivalent professional experience working with students with disabilities.
We are unable to advise you any professional accreditation or increases in pay. We recommend that you contact your human resource office and the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
Candidates in the specialist program can complete their program in four semesters.
The Ed.S. program in Special Education were designed to provide students with balanced knowledge of current theoretical and practice based knowledge of the field.
