Kennesaw State University is adopting a new software platform for advising and as you can imagine this is a big undertaking. Therefore, Education Student Services will be closed May 17-21 to transition over to the new system and train our advisors. We will not be taking appointments during this time. If you need assistance this week, please email your advisor directly or our department atBCOE_advising@kennesaw.edu
Education Student Services continues to be available to assist you in your advising needs. Advising will take place virtually through Microsoft Outlook Teams video conferencing. In order to make an appointment for virtual advising please log into Owl Express and make an appointment with your advisor, like you normally would. Advisors will send an "invite" to you via KSU email for the date and time of your video conference. Please "accept" the invitation. It will then be added to your Outlook calendar where you will see a screen pop up to the side asking you to “Join Meeting” (when it is the correct time). You will then need to be online and logged into your KSU email on the day/time of your appointment time. At the start of your advising appointment day/time, the advisor will virtually call you via Microsoft Outlook Teams, and your advising session will take place.
If you have questions, please email, firstname.lastname@example.org.
