The "Spring Symposium on New Pedagogies and Critical Methodologies“,  is a 2-day event designed to propel our educational community into the future, fostering innovative teaching approaches and new critical research methodologies that will redefine the landscape of education. It is designed to bring together educators, researchers, and activists to explore the intersection of new pedagogies and critical methodologies in education. The symposium will feature 4 keynote speakers who will discuss the following topics: 

  • Fugitive Pedagogy
  • Indigenous Research Methods
  • Bilingualism in Latinx Students
  • AsianCrit and Racial Literacy Education

The Vision

At the heart of this symposium lies the aspiration of facilitating a dynamic space for educators, scholars, and learners to come together and explore cutting-edge pedagogies and critical methodologies. Our aim is to inspire fresh thinking, dialogue, and transformation within the field of education. The symposium is designed to provide educators with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to implement new pedagogies and critical methodologies in their own classrooms.
