Community Visitors

The Teacher Resource and Activity Corner is not just for KSU students, faculty, and staff. We welcome all visitors from the community who may find this facility helpful. Teachers, daycare providers, home school parents, PTA members, and all others who work with children and youth are sure to find useful tools and services here. Scrapbookers, crafters, and readers love TRAC, too! Stop by and check it out the next time you visit campus.

There are some important things to remember when visiting TRAC:

  • All visitors must be at least 18 years of age. Infants, children, and younger teens are not permitted in TRAC.
  • Consumable supplies must be paid for with cash or check. We cannot accept any type of card payment. Checks must be accompanied by a state-issued photo ID.
  • Printing and copying is done using a campus system that requires guests to purchase a reloadable copy/print card.  Although you can print and copy in TRAC using the card, you have to go to another building to buy the card.  Allow time for that if you plan to print or copy.  (Note: This does not apply to poster printing, which is paid to TRAC with cash or check.)
  • All visitors must pay to park on campus. Click here for details.

Community visitors who would like to borrow materials may do so by purchasing an annual Friends of the Library (FOL) membership. This program supports the KSU Library System and is administered by the Sturgis Library on the Kennesaw campus. Anyone over age 18 may join. The cost is $35 per year for an individual, and discounted rates are available for those interested in corporate or lifetime memberships. Please visit the Check-Out Desk at the Sturgis Library to purchase a membership and get more information about its benefits. FOL members borrowing from TRAC must present their FOL Special Borrower Card and a state-issued photo ID. No exceptions will be allowed, so don’t forget to bring your card when you visit KSU! Replacement cards must be requested at the Sturgis library.
