Group Study Rooms
FALL 2020 SEMESTER UPDATE: In compliance with campus healthy safety strategies during the current coronavirus crisis, study room capacity has been restricted to ONE PERSON AT A TIME. This change will remain in place for the duration of this semester. Future changes will be posted here and at each study room door.
Locations: Bagwell Education Building 124, 125, 417, 418
What are study rooms?
Study rooms are student-use areas that offer a quiet and comfortable space for serious study sessions and semi-private virtual meetings. Although these rooms are typically available for groups up to 6 people at a time, current health safety restrictions prevent groups from using the rooms. Study rooms are currently available to single users only. Violations will result in loss of future study room privileges.
How do I get in?
Reservations must be made by calling or visiting the Teacher Resource and Activity Corner (TRAC) at 470-578-6420, located in KH-2001. Reservations are 1-2 hours long, and the person who makes the reservation must present a valid ID in TRAC in exchange for a door key. Only current KSU students may reserve group study rooms.
Basic Room Rules:
- KSU students only
- Maximum room capacity = ONE PERSON (due to Fall 2020 health safety restriction)
- Study/school-related activities only
- No food, children, or sleeping
- No watching TV, playing music, or making excessive noise
- No blocking doors or covering windows
