About TESOL
There are three graduate TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) programs in the Inclusive Education Department:
M.Ed. in TESOL
The Master of Arts in Teaching in TESOL is for those who have a bachelor’s degree, but no education background or teacher certification. The program is trans-disciplinary in nature and is built on research in the disciplines of TESOL, General Education, Literacy, and Special Education. Graduates demonstrate the ability to provide language and literacy instruction to English learners while simultaneously teaching the state-approved content standards. They also gain a firm understanding of collaborative models to effectively work with colleagues and families and to enhance EL learning across the curriculum. Click Here to View Program.
