Awards
The purpose of the Clarice C. and Leland H. Bagwell College of Education Hall of Fame Award is to honor and showcase distinguished alumni in education who have made significant contributions in their professions and who have advanced the mission and vision of the Bagwell College of Education through their achievements.
The Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree programs offered by the Bagwell College of Education (BCOE) prepare professional educators who are practitioner scholars, content knowledge specialists, and instructional leaders who innovate, critically reflect, and effectively teach and lead within varied P-20 educational settings.
The purpose of the Bagwell College of Education Student Research and Professional Development Activity Fund is to support a limited number of undergraduate and graduate research and professional development activities conducted by undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in Bagwell College of Education programs.
Outstanding Scholar Award
Each year, faculty in the Clarice C. & Leland H. Bagwell College of Education select
outstanding students from our programs based on distinguished achievements in the
major field including having earned an exceptional GPA, as well as notable accomplishments
I in extracurricular, civic, or professional activities.
Each student selected to receive the Outstanding Scholar Award selects one faculty member to honor who has had a significant impact on their academic experience. This honor provides an opportunity for students to demonstrate their respect and appreciation for faculty who have influenced their learning in ways that will inspire their careers for years to come.
