Educators of Tomorrow

KENNESAW, Ga. (Nov 4, 2018) —

More than two hundred students from area high schools came to the Kennesaw State University main campus for Educators of Tomorrow Day. They were greeted by Kawonza Jones-Wilson, Director of CEPP, who introduced the Dean of the Bagwell College of Education, Dr. Cynthia Reed, who welcomed the students to campus. The Keynote speaker was Mrs. Allison Townsend, the 2019 State of Georgia Teacher of the Year. After Townsend's presentation, the students participated in breakout sessions that included the Innovation Lab, the Avatar Lab, and sessions about teaching led by Dr. Brian Lawler, and Mrs. Katie Basch.
