Research Week Keynote Speaker Faculty Research Expo Student Scholars Expo

On Tuesday, October 25th we will host the following two panel sessions: 

10.00 am - 11.00 am | BCOE Research Teams Panel Session

Description: In this hybrid panel, representatives from the 2021 and 2022 BCOE Research Teams will briefly share the highlights of the work done within their teams. Moreover, a final discussion will address the benefits and limitations of working as a research team, and potential ways of enhancing the program as well.

Structure for the session: 

  • 10.00-10.05 - Presentation of the panel session
  • 10.05 to 10.40 - 5-minute presentations by research team representatives highlighting the work of their teams
  • 10.40 - 11.00 - Final discussion 
     

Venue: The panel will be hosted in room BEB 403-Interactive Research Methods Lab.

11.15 - 12.30 pm | Panel Session: Impact of hosting Postdoctoral and Predoctoral Research visits

Description: In this hybrid panel, four faculty members who have hosted postdoctoral/predoctoral research visits will share their experience. Former students who have visited KSU will also be a part of the conversation.

  • 11.15 - 11.25:  Introductions
  • 11.25 - 11.45: 5-minute presentation of panelist's experience hosting Postdoctoral/Predoctoral Research visits (Drs. Richey, Choi, Chang, and Jorrin)
  • 11.45 - 12.15: 3-minute presentation of former visitors' experience at KSU
  • 12.15 - 12:30: Discussion on the impact that hosting postdoctoral/predoctoral research visits has had both for us and for our college.
