The Bagwell College of Education Research Week is a brand-new initiative framed within the college 2020-2023 Research Action Plan. Its inaugural edition will be held from October 24th to the 28th, 2022. This week-long celebration of research will include an exciting array of panel sessions, showcases and keynotes, providing faculty and students with an opportunity to share and  discuss their research interests, agendas and initiatives.

Ms. Amanda DesLauriers, Research Development & Strategic Initiatives Assistant Director, will be sharing helpful tips when writing your grant proposal, talking about what a good timeline looks like, as well as reviewing common mistakes. She will also share helpful resources. 
    Ms. Kimberly Hunt, from pre-awards, will guide us on how to use Cayuse as part of the process to submit your grant application, and will also talk about budget building.

  • 12:00-12:45pm EDT – Panel: reviewing and getting a grant. In this panel, Drs. Cone, Adams, Clegorne, and Ritchie will talk about their experiences as a grant recipient and/or reviewer. They will share tips for those getting their first grant, and information useful for all of us writing grants.
